Emergency Hysterectomy Tomorrow Morning

Hi Everyone,

I feel a little silly putting this out there but I figure it's kind of like the lottery - I can't win if I don't play

Tomorrow morning I have to be at Abbot Northwestern at 5:30 am for surgery at 7:30. All of my family lives in St. Louis and everyone I have who could be with me will be out of town for Easter weekend. I really do not want to be there alone. If by some chance you are going to be in town and you would be open to staying with me before during and immediately after surgery I would be very grateful. I know it is a lot to ask of a stranger but I also know the women here understand about needing support.

Please keep me in your prayers for the next couple of days.

    I am not in the area, but I wish you the best of luck during your surgery (though it's probably done by now) and a speedy recovery. I'll be thinking about you!

    Kendall, I am so sorry that you had to go through this alone. I had a TAH three years ago and I was pretty bad off for a long while. That said I can't imagine not having someone there with you.  I hope that you were able to find someone and that you are starting to feel a bit stronger now. Remember fiber is your friend!!!!! Please take good care of your self! Bev....
