Excision vs. Ablation I have been asked to explain the differences between excision of endometriosis vs. ablation of endometriosis for the treatment of this complicated disease. Excision of endometriosis was first written about by Dr. Redwine of Bend, Oregon about 15 years ago. I started treating endometriosis by excision shortly thereafter based on his publications.
