Blog Saving Grace started to educate re pelvic prolapse to what happened to me does not happen to you. Have learned that treating the pelvis as the issue instead of individual prolapses is fairly new. You'll need to find a doctor who treats the pelvic issue which includes bladder, vagina, and rectum. That means if you are with a urologist who says you have a bladder prolapse and wants to schedule you for surgery to repair it....DON'T. Say you need a second opinion and find board certified ob/gyn. My dr was affiliated with teaching hospital where they are always ahead of other hospitals...if you are near one. Just want to spread the word. Resource links are up first for immediate info.
