Been struggling with fatigue for a long time. It is always blamed on medications (in my case anti-depressants), and they run the regular blood tests which quite regularly show nothing then they send me home with no real answers or solutions.
I agree with Carla. I will sleep 10 hours then wake up and 2 hours later i can take a 3 hour nap and still feel exhausted. Basically now- i try to keep to 8 hours a night and make lots of plans ahead of time (going out, parties, meeting with friends for coffee) because being excited about doing something gives me more energy than spur of the moment plans.
Yeah.....I know that exercise is supposed to help this...but I had a horrible period that sort of threw me off, then a horrible ovulation. The tramadol I am on dosnt seem to work anymore, and I dont want to go to the doctor because I know he's going to tell me I need surgery again!!!!
What are some things you all are doing to stop fatigue?
It is totally associated with Endo. I used to only need 6 hours of sleep. NOW I need 12 HOURS or more. Pisses me off. Dr explained that our bodies are working overtime trying to fight off this disease.
