YES! I have such a hard time passting stool. which for years they blamed on the amount of pain meds ( but for years I never had the problem, I would go normal) then around last Thanksgiving I was in the ER over 5 times, and in the hosp twice for a major back up stool. Both times, they blamed it on the amount of pain meds I was taking (which was never a lot) I had really bad pain on my left side.. which I thought was the tube the stool went out. (thinking I was backed up, and that was why it hurt soo much)

Well long story short.. My colon, tube, and ovary were all stuck together because of scar tissue, and my colon was not working that well.

It could be the meds causing it.. do you drink mirlax? It works wonders (but does not help me anymore due to my colon being in bad shape) or stool softners. Have you seen a gi dr? They might want to do a lower gi, just to take a look.. make sure everything is working normal.

They can also give you a few meds for helping you pass stool a little but more easy. But I would for sure start with mirlax. I at one point was drinking it up to 4 time a day.. it did not have any taste... or fiber one.. is another good one.

well i havent seen my doc because well my usuall endo pain is so bad every single day that i can hard walk to the bathroom and when i get there it hurts to much i do have pains up just passed my belly button on the right i dont know what that is. i just dont know what to do anymore i like i ant do anything cz of my usual pain now this??!!??

Try Milk of Magnesia too. That should help!

Barium suppositories have helped me.  Generally I'm not constipated (I have IBS) but when I was on Diladid I was horribly backed up.

Yes...it was the Hydocodine for sure..I have been taking laxitives to help
