Have you heard oftried this medication?

I just talked to a friend with Endo to complain about how sick the Lupron is making me.  She said the only medicine that ever really worked for her was in college (12+ yrs ago) was SYNAREL.  It is a nose spray and she said it was great!  She has had any treatment in the past 4 years because her Dr retired and she just hasn't  tried to find a new one.  Come painful days she just takes a handful of painkillers.  When we were talking about it she decided she was going to try and find a dr to get on that med again.  She had totally forgotten until I ask.  Anyways, to the point!  What do you know about this?  Or what has worked for you?

    my dpctor has been trying to get me on Lupron but i keep on shuting down the idea i have heard bad stories about it and they say that the after affects arent the best with trying to get preganet. i have found that the best one working right now is the nuva ring. my doctor not to long ago took me off of it and put me on micronor and you just keep taking it and skip you periods. man what a nightmare that was for three months of hell i was bleeding for three months stright and the effects were really bad, it got to the point i had to be put back on nuvaring again and right now that is the only thing helping me right now.

    Thanks for sharing...it is always nice to know what works for others!  The Lupron is scary!  I finally got my second shot today and within ten minutes my muscles, joints and bones began to ache!

    oh really see i am so scared to start that shot not only that it is not covered and it is expensive to buy the shots. i am just scared also of the after effects after you stop taking them i have heard so many bad stories for wommen wanting to have kids after and since i dont have any yet i am so scared that i wont be able to cause of the meds. if the doctor told me it was 100% effective i would take it in a heart beat but there isnt.

    I used to be on the Nuvaring, and although birth control wise its fine, I did not think it helped my endo at all. I got the Depo shot and that was not bad at all. I had better results with Depo than Nuvaring. I am currently on Lupron, and its not as scary as it is cracked up to be.

    I am having a horrible time on the Lupron!   I hope it is doing better for everyone else!
